Off Road Commute - Weston Creek to Belconnen

CYCLE CANBERRA, COMMUTER RIDE, WESTON CREEK TO BELCONNEN ACT Government's Parks and Conservation Service has developed a fantastic bush corridor off-road commute in line with the Active Travel Week. The ride is from Weston Creek to Belconnen via the Arboretum, Aranda, Black Mountain and Bruce Ridge Reserves. Check it out in 3D - DESCRIPTION Discover the joy of cycle commuting along some of Canberra’s bush trails with staff from the ACT Parks and Conservation Service. Riding on reserve management and shared use trails adds some fun to your commute and an opportunity to appreciate Canberra’s natural surrounds. The guided route is approximately 17 kilometres and will travel through Bruce Ridge, Aranda and Black Mountain reserves and the National Arboretum. The trails are best suited to a mountain bike and connect existing cycle paths with routes to Woden, Tuggeranong, Belconnen and/or the City. The Parks and Conversation Service will be conducting a guided ride on Tuesday 21st March, 2017.
