Bellingen Shire has some of the most fantastic Mountain Bike Trails in the State. These range from gravity-fed enduro trails through to technical single track and family friendly trails.
Pine Creek State Forest near Bonville, around 20 mins drive south of Coffs Harbour and North of Bellingen, contains a range of tracks for all skill levels.
Trails are outlined on a map board at the trail head. It gives you an idea where you are and several trails lead away from right behind the map board. There are some arrows on the trails that generally provide a good indication of the better way to ride the trails.
One of the most well- known trails is Cows with Guns. Although not huge amount of trails in distance terms, the Cows With Guns network provides a range of intense trails highlighted by mossy logs and trail edges, small but consistent tree roots, creek crossings, and a rainforest environment.
The external trails that circumnavigates is more fast and flowy than the internal trails in most cases and one of those must do twice trails.

If you are in the region you should consider the range of other trails including in Nambucca Heads that hosts the Jacks Ridge trail which is well known and highly regarded in this area. Coffs Creek has a small trail network right in the heart of the city that leads you down to the coastline. Great for parents and the kids too. The Bellingen and Coffs region has a host of great family activities year-round also.
