In recent years, the island is becoming known for its many guided bike tours and rentals, as more and more people are discovering this is a great way to travel and sightsee across the island.
Mountain biking resorts and parks are even popping up around the island. Guests can spend their days biking, then finish off with a few perfect waves.
When to go
Bali has a tropical climate which is warm and humid all year round with two main seasons: the dry season and rainy season.
the best time to visit Bali depends the weather as well as its effect on the high and low season and their resulting price of accommodation. High season is between July and August, during Easter Holidays, and Christmas/ New Year (December till 1st week of January). If you travel to Bali during these times, expect high prices and crowds after crowds.
So, we recommend you visit this beautiful island either just before or just after high season, which is between April and June, and September. It’s still dry season, less humid, and the accommodation prices are lower. October is also a good choice, still much less rain than November. However, for certainty, please check the weather before you go.
