Visiting family and friends program

This one’s for locals! Love riding in the nation’s capital and want to show off the best of Canberra and the region by spoiling your visiting family and friends to experience Canberra by bike? We suggest you familiarise with the following experiences to be able to showcase them to your loved ones visiting from near and far:

  • Murrumbateman wineries: Why not drive out to the region with your loved ones and their bikes (you may need to hire these from a local bike hire facility in the city before you leave)
  • Stromlo forest park – pack up the family, the bikes and a picnic lunch and head out to Mt Stromlo for a day’s adventure. Something for everyone with mountain biking, road cycling, a criterium circuit, children’s playground, cross country running trail, bbqs, toilet and shower facilities and more!
  • If you want to get away from it all, consider a day mountain biking in the Brindabellas.
  • Treat your family and friends to experience Canberra as you experience it: ride the inner city shared paths to access local cafes, weekend markets and the local grocer.
