Situated along the beautiful Waterfall Way driving route, Bellingen is a picturesque town with guesthouses lining the banks of the tranquil Bellinger River. Dairy and other farms thrive in the rich soil surrounding the town, with the Bellingen Growers Market selling some of the bounty on Saturdays twice a month.
Halfway between Sydney and Brisbane, and 30 minutes' drive from Coffs Harbour, Bellingen is perfect for a relaxing getaway and an excellent base for exploring natural attractions, such as the river and the nearby World Heritage-listed Dorrigo National Park.

Getting to Bellingen
Coffs Harbour Airport is located 4 km from Coffs Harbour’s town centre. Use the shuttle bus and taxi services at the front of the terminal to make the short journey north. Alternatively, rent a car from the hire services available at the airport and explore the region at your own pace.
Direct flights operate to and from Sydney daily, and to and from Melbourne weekly. Fly to and from Newcastle on On Monday, Tuesday, Thurs, Friday and Saturday. From Monday to Friday plus Sunday you can also fly to and from Brisbane. There are five operators - QantasLink, Tigerair, Virgin Australia, Fly Pelican and Fly Corporate - servicing the region.
Countrylink runs two rail services daily from Sydney and Brisbane to Coffs Harbour and Urunga.
