When to go

Located to the South West of Sydney, Camden is blessed with relatively mild weather the whole year round.

In spring, flowers are in bloom. And the annual Camden Festival, held each September, celebrates the town's true beauty at this time of year.

Beware that summer here can be hot. However, away from the city grid, it can offer a much cooler respite from the Sydney CBD and surrounding suburbs.

Summer and autumn are great months for cycling in the region, enjoying outdoor parks, picnics and BBQ facilities.

And winter in Camden is a great time to visit by bike - it's never too cold, and the town's celebration of Winter Fest brings the streets alive, with a Christmas atmosphere of light-filled streetscapes and decorations.
