Mountain Biking in Burns Lake

Burn Lake – Canada’s first IMBA Ride Center – offers more than 90km of trails and an unquantifiable number of experiences awaiting your next mountain biking adventure.

Only ten minutes from downtown, Burns Lake, Boer Mountain Recreation Site (the main mountain biking area) and the Burns Lake Bike Park give you miles of singletrack of which several are among the best downhill trails that you will find anywhere! The area features a campground on Kager Lake, where you can base yourself to ride around 30 km of downhills and 60 km of cross-country trails. Beginners and advanced riders alike will enjoy the trails around Kager Lake. And: there are more challenging options spreading from the Bike Park to the top of Boer Mountain for those wanting a real hit out.

The Burns Lake area is well managed by the local club – Burns Lake Mountain Biking Association (BLMBA).

Excellent, accessible and fun rides are waiting for you in Burns Lake!
