The state of Georgia is ranked the U.S' 19th most Bicycle Friendly State by the League of American Bicyclists. It offers a great cycling experience for locals and visitors. There are many trails to explore ranging from green forests, to snow covered mountains, semi-dry deserts and the coast, including hundreds of mountain bike trails. Georgia Bikes is working tirelessly to ensure continual improvements for bicycling conditions and to promote bicycling throughout the state of Georgia.

Georgia's three mountain ranges - the Appalachian, Blue Ridge, and Cohutta -- have cool climates and the state is blessed with moderate winters which makes it an excellent year-round mountain bike destination.
