Mountain biking in and around Ann Arbor
Ann Arbor itself is a popular place for cycling by the local community, but that’s not all.
Located in the Midwestern state of Michigan, it's a perfect place to access to some of the best trails in Pinckney Recreation Area, Brighton, and DTE Energy Foundation Trail. Only 20 miles from Ann Arbor, these places attract biking enthusiasts at all skill levels.
The gem of this area is the 17-mile Potawatomi Trail: a great combination of a fast and flowy single-track and with steep, technical climbs, and brain-rattling descents. Trails in this region are well preserved by the Potawatomi Mountain Biking Association – a chapter of the International Mountain Biking Association (IMBA).
