Medora is located in the Badlands of North Dakota and is the gateway to the south unit of Theodore Roosevelt National Park and Maah Daah Hey EPIC trail. Once you visit Medora, Maah Daah Hey is something you definitely do not want to miss! This 150-mile trail traverses the Badlands, Little Missouri National Grasslands, private land and the North and South Units of the Theodore Roosevelt National Park. Come ride some of the best single-track in the world!

When to go

In Medora, the summers are warm and mostly clear, and the winters are freezing, dry, windy, and partly cloudy.

Late June to late August is the best time for travelling in Medora with nice weather and great activities on offer, including mountain biking. But if dry days are what you're after, November may be best - just bring layers to rug up and stay warm!

Are you ready to join the Maah Daah Hey 100 Race Course taking you across one of the most majestic singletrack adventures in the world?

The race features nearly 100 miles of uninterrupted North Dakota Badlands singletrack. There are many different options for race day, including teams and shorter distances of 25, 50 & 75 miles. This event will push competitive riders to their limits while giving every participant an experience they will remember for the rest of their lives. Race starts on August 3rd, 2019.
