Cycling in Salt Lake City
Salt Lake City (or many people call SLC) is the capital and the most populous municipality of the U.S. State of Utah.
The climate of Salt Lake City is commonly claimed to be semi-arid, but under the Köppen climate classification, Salt Lake City has a hot-summer humid continental climate with hot summers and cold, snowy winters. Snow falls on average from November 6 to April 18.
The topography and streets of Salt Lake are said to be designed for bicycles.The streets are wide, and the city itself is relatively flat, which allow riders to pedal freely. Either you want to travel around the city on a cruiser bike, or you explore a rugged downhill, great quantity of bike shop and maintenances are there for you.
For those mountain bikers, it must be nice for you to know that the mountains of Northern Utah offer not only epic skiing and snowboarding, but they're home to incredible mountain biking as well. There are various trails for beginners as well as trails for competent downhillers, often with access from the same trailhead.
