We know some of you may be a bit confused since there’s no singletrack within the park’s boundaries. You’re right again, but did you check the surrounding areas of Zion?
The majority of the United States’s National Parks doesn’t allow mountain biking inside the parks. Zion National Park is no exception. However, just outside the park, you’re going to be surprised to find miles after miles of biking trails. They are the desert-cruising JEM Trail, the incredible Guacamole, the world-class Gooseberry Mesa Trail System, and the start of the region – the IMBA epic ride Hurricane Rim Loop…all promise to bring you the best mountain biking experience in Utah!
When to go
Zion National Park is best visited between May and November when the park’s free shuttles are running and the weather is ideal for biking and enjoying attractions in the national park. However, June to September is pretty hot (ranging from 32℃ to 37℃).
April and October are also good times for biking. The weather is not too cold (between 23℃ to 25℃)
