Mountain biking in Castle Rock

Although Castle Rock is just a small town, it is one of the destinations that mountain bike lovers are crazy about. For a small town, Castle Rock has a surprisingly strong mountain biking community.

Right within the city, the Castle Rock Bike Park takes the entire spotlight. This bike park is a dedicated project of the town to provide a fun and safe ride for everyone – from beginners to advanced cycling enthusiasts. The park features one-of-a-kind biking facilities and awesome features including jump lines, drops, skinnies, log-overs, and the Pacific Northwest’s largest pump track.

Moving out from the city, just around 10 minutes from downtown is the Growlers Gulch - a great skill development area which will build a perfect foundation for you to handle most trails. But the best thing is lying to the east of Castle Rock: that is the Plains of Abraham – an IMBA EPIC Ride which is located in Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, around 1 hour's drive from downtown Castle Rock.

Feeling excited already? Got your bike? Let’s roll to Castle Rock for some dirt fun!
