Mountain biking in Chequamegon Area, Cable

Cable is one of Wisconsin's best trail towns, supporting the nearby Chequamegon area trail system.

The CAMBA (Chequamegon Area Mountain Bike Association) trails have been designated an IMBA Bronze-Level Ride Center. Even better, the trail system hosts an IMBA EPIC Ride - Rock Lake.

The system offers around 300 miles of mapped routes and stretches from Hayward to Iron River, making the Cable Area the hub of one of Wisconsin's best mountain biking destinations, if not THE best. Check it out and decide for yourself. This reputation is based on their variety, scenic beauty and "impossible to get lost" wayfinding signage.

The Chequamegon trail systems of northern Wisconsin attracts numerous mountain bikers every year, generating a sizable economic impact for the local community and businesses.
