Goulburn Grand Prix Cycle Challenge

CYCLE THE SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS, ROAD RIDE, GOULBURN GRAND PRIX CYCLE CHALLENGE The event is held as part of NSW Bike Week and aims to educate people about bicycle safety and awareness, promote cycling as a sport and a mode of transport and to encourage people to live a healthy lifestyle and stay active through regular exercise. The event is run as a partnership between Goulburn Cycle Club and Goulburn Mulwaree Council. The three longer rides are coordinated by Goulburn Cycle Club and the Community Ride is coordinated by Council’s Road Safety Officer. The funds raised will support junior cycling. This year we have added the Grand Prix Cruise 85. It's still an event is for accomplished cyclists, but more for those who want to complete the Grand Prix circuit at an enjoyable pace. Participants will be given an extra 30 minutes to finish the challenging 85km circuit and must have the ability to maintain 20kph instead of the required 25kph for the Grand Prix 85.
