CYCLE THE SOUTHERN HIGHLANDS, SIGHTSEEING RIDE, BUNDANOON CYCLING ROUTE

This is a stunning ride from the beautiful town of Bundanoon to Morton National Park and back. There are some great cafes in Bundanoon including Ye Olde Bike Shoppe where you can hire some bikes and set of for this 1/2 day sightseeing ride. There are some small inclines and some gravel roads but this is manageable for a beginner rider. Pack some lunch, some water and enjoy the beautiful sights and sounds of Morton National Park. From the bike shop there is a gentle 2km descent into the national park mainly on fire trails. If you're not used to riding on fire trails take it easy. Once you are into the park there are are toilets and camping grounds. There isn't any water or food so make you take some with you. When you are there the views are beautiful - stunning gorges and native trees (have a look at my photos :)). Take a small picnic, a bike lock and enjoy a 1/2 day.
