There aren't too many attractions along this route but there are plenty of gorgeous places to stop for breaks.
This ride is relatively a big loop that may take you approximately four hours to complete, but it’s worth it since you’ll have plenty of time riding and enjoying the peaceful atmosphere of Prague.
The trail offers several green resting spots and fantastic views along the Vltava River. But the highlights are the Scholoss Weltrus – a beautiful vintage Baroque castle located in Veltrusy, and an impressive steel bridge crossing the lower section of Vltava as part of the waterworks of the river.
Since the ride is pretty long, good fitness is required but riders of all skills can join this one.
The ride is pretty smooth with most sections are asphalted and paved.
The ride starts from Větrná Children's Playground in Odolena Voda. You can park at the parking lot near the playground or use public transport to get here.
Food and drink
The catering service is less dense when you get out of town. So make sure to fill your tummy and bottles before departing Odolena Voda, or you can buy something to eat later since there will be great places for short breaks on the ride.
Not too worry if you run out of supply in the middle of the trail. You still can find restaurants as well as cafes when you reach the Vltava River section. Feel free to pick a place and serve yourself with something delicious while enjoying the view of the longest river of Czech.
