Cuyuna.com Trail Ride Overview:

This nearly 4 mile mountain biking singletrack ride loop features the full technical riding challenges of the Yawkey Unit of trails starting and ending at the Croft Mine Historical parking lot just north of the City of Crosby, on MN HWY 6.

Currently you do not need a Minnesota State Park vehicle permit to park in the Croft Mine Historical parking lot.

This ride loop is for technical skill riding experts only. For all other users, please build your technical skill riding abilites within the Miner's Mountain Rally Center Bike Skills Area in the Mahnomen Unit of trails.

On this technical trail cycling loop, you'll experience:

  • Haul Road (Gets you in and out of the Yawkey Unit of Trails)
  • Skip
  • Timber Shaft
  • Little Rock
  • Depending on the speed you ride, this could be a couple of hours, or a full day experience, if you want to session the challenges to your heart's content.

    This entire singletrack loop is a one-direction, one-way trail.

Additionally, for GARMIN users please download the GPX file (right hand column on this page) and upload it to your GARMIN device. Then load this route on your GARMIN prior to mountain biking.

    • For trail conditions visit the MN DNR CCSRA homepage— Keep in mind the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources does not update their trail conditions daily, just when trails are open, or temporarily closed due to conditions or maintenance.
