Valley East - Duluth Traverse

Valley East - Duluth Traverse

Overview

Drop in and hold on! This is a part of Duluth Traverse and one of the most fun trails in town.

There are no dedicated tabletops or doubles on this trail just small rollers and grade reversals, making it ideal for a variety of skill levels: Beginners can roll everything, intermediates can work on their jump skills, and advanced riders can see what they can hip and double up.

Terrain

180-degree berms, rollers, and a smooth surface will have you whooping and hipping all the way down.

Access

Starting from Becks Road, head down Mission Creek Parkway (gravel road/doubletrack) crossing the railroad and the paved Munger trail on bridges. Immediately after crossing the Munger trail, look for the singletrack on your left.

More details

If you are looking to head east on Sugar Bush, slow down after the first set of switchbacks and look carefully for the split left, it's easy to get caught up in the fun and miss the turn-off.

At the bottom, this trail rejoins the doubletrack Mission Creek Parkway to connect to Valley West or Porcupine Passage.
