Weston Creek to Picadilly Circus
Getting beyond the tarmac and onto the roads less traveled. Exploring by gravel bikes on a sunny winter's day equals our idea of perfect! This one takes you from Weston Creek, through Uriarra Crossing, along the back roads just to get some extra gravel in and onto Brindabella Road. You'll love exploring this one by gravel or CX bike because your mountain bike friends are just, well, a bit slow. The ride takes a few good climbs, including up from Uriarra Crossing; the climb itself up Brindabella Road to Picadilly Circus; and the final climb back out of the Cotter to Weston Creek.
All roads are generally in good condition, though note that the final climb on gravel to Picadilly Circus can get a bit icy/sloshy in wet and/or cold weather, and can suffer corrugations at times. However, this ride is achievable by those new to gravel riding.
This ride follows sealed and unsealed roads from Weston Creek, via the back route to the top of Brindabella Road at Picadilly Circus.
