Overview

NPR means “No Pedaling Required!” - The first purpose-built trail in the Emerald Mountain Area! This awesome smooth berms and low-consequence tabletops will give you a lot of fun in frontside biking in Steamboat.

The trail is downhill only, offering a short flowy descent. Just 2.1 miles riding, this jumpy trail connects Blackmere Drive and the Orton property leaving you to coast the whole way.

Terrain

NPR is a fun smooth trail with bunches of berms and tabletop jumps, and almost no rocky sections. the jumps are quite friendly and easy to ride over in case you don't want to jump them all.

Access

The beginning is one switchback below the Blair Witch intersection with the fireroad or a short climb (to the left) from a place where Little Moab spits you out on the road.

Food and drink

This is just a short descent completed within half an hour so you shouldn't need to bring much with you.

More details

This fresh trail offers tons of fun with all buffed berm turns and rollers. At the first road crossing, turn left on the service road and ride the next segment. Keep on going straight through one more service road junction and head to the last rocky section.

If you're still excited and want to explore more, Emerald Mountain Flow Fest is a good option!
