Possum Kingdom

Overview

Who ever said that singletrack isn't family-friendly? If so, you haven't yet experienced Possum Kingdom! Pack up the car and bring the whole family along for this one. It's a great forest experience with a variety of well-formed roads including paved and gravel.

Terrain

Most of Possum Kingdom is nice dirt roads. The trail is pretty level without any technical sections. There are a few little hills, but none of which are too rocky.

As for the paved roads, they are good, short and a little narrow.

Access

The best place to park is at the Cedar Fourche Recreation Area. Drive down Harper Grocery Road and then turn right onto Cedar Fourche Road and follow this all the way into the recreation area.

Food and drink

Since there’s no permanent catering facility, we recommend that you bring your own food and water.

Further info

There may be other vehicles on the trail. If you are riding with kids, watch out for occasional speeding drivers.
