Underwood Park – Skills center training

Overview

Underwood Park is a purpose built mountain bike facility that is excellent for learning how to ride with an excellent skills area. It is also where you can meet local coaches if you are new to mountain biking and want to learn. The Park offers different trails so that you could try all and hone your skills. If you link all the trails together there is around 7-8 kilometers of trails in this area. There is also a BMX track as well as a range of other sporting facilities.

This area does not have a vast network of trails, but don’t let that put you off. The trails here are fun and present some good technical features. Bring your family here to enjoy the fun together.

Terrain

The variety of terrains of the Park will train your skills. So expect to try a bit of everything from any trails.

Access

To locate the Underwood Park trails, turn into the Underwood Park precinct and follow the bitumen 40k zone, right through to the end

Food and drink

Bring your own bottles and snacks to recharge your energy after trying the trails cause there are no restaurant or food court in the park.

If you are looking for a longer ride, you could easily link into the Daisy Hill network by riding directly across Underwood Road and up into Daisy Hill.
