The Cyclist's Menu, co-founded in 2014 by Coach Heidi and Zander (Chef Z), seeks to connect people to the food and land in beautiful places across the globe. They provide an adventure on the bike and in the kitchen, unmatched in this industry. Based in Tucson, Arizona.

Itinerary

*This is our very general schedule for the week. Upon signing up for camp, you will receive a welcome packet with a detailed itinerary, bike rental information, what to expect/how to prep for your trip, packing list, arrival/departure info., etc.

Day 0: Travel to Tucson

  • If you can't arrive to the Tucson airport before 11AM on arrival day, please consider traveling to Tucson one day before camp begins. Patagonia, AZ is 1.5 hrs south of Tucson and we will only have one pickup shuttle scheduled.
  • Tucson is an incredible city and we highly recommend staying for at least 1 night.

    Day 1: Arrival Day

    • ​We'll pick you up at hotel / airport between 9:30-11 AM. *No need to rent a car*
    • Transfer from Tucson to Patagonia: 1.5 hrs
    • Settle in to our abode, get dialed on bikes, enjoy a light lunch by Chef Z!
    • Roll out for the "shake-down" spin (easy 20 miles) around 2:30-3PM.
    • Post-ride happy hour & charcuterie as we watch the sun go down!
    • Seasonally fresh dinner by Chef Z to follow

      Day 2-4:

      • 6:30AM Coffee time, followed by breakfast.
      • 8:30AM Roll out on bikes! We will depart on bike every day from the house... no shuttles necessary!!
      • 40-100+ miles daily
      • A fresh picnic lunch will be served in the middle of nowhere.
      • We typically finish our rides around 3-4 PM.
      • Late afternoon / evenings are totally relaxed: jump in the pool, enjoy a massage, hit up the Wagon Wheel Saloon, or just hang in the kitchen with Chef Z.
      • We'll all soak in the sunset each night, tasty beverage in hand...
      • Each evening we will gather around the table to tell stories of the day, taste the flavors of the borderlands region of Arizona, and celebrate a moment in time that won't be forgotten.

        Day 5: Departure day

        • 6:30-9AM: Coffee & Breakfast
        • Shuttle back to your Tucson destination (airport or hotel): departs promptly at 9:30AM.*If you are flying out on this day, and need a shuttle to the airport, please schedule your flight to depart after 12PM.
