See the sites, monuments, and memorials on a bike

An easy ride from Union Station to the East side of the Capital Building, down to the Mall and then over to Haines Point.  Back to the Mall via the Jefferson, Lincoln, Vietnam, and Korean memorials.

Past the Einstein statue, the Federal Reserve, to the White House and then down Pennsyvania Avenue to Union Station.  Hear about the origin of DC, the War of 1812, slavery in the Capital, the fight over constructing the Washington Monument and the Vietnam Veterans memorial, and look over to Virginia to see Arlington Cemetary - which was originally the estate of Robert E. Lee.

Rent bike at Bike N'Roll at Union Station, about $12, not included in the ride fee.
