Food and drink
Albert Cuypmarkt is the perfect place to stop for lunch and delicious stroopwafels – a popular waffle in the Netherlands with caramel syrup filling in the middle. If you can’t find anything in the market, don’t worry, there are many eateries along the way.
Ride past Anna Frank House and spend some time to explore the area. Jordaan and Nine Streets are your next destinations, and you’ll ride along the canals. Then head south towards the Rijksmuseum and I Amsterdam sign. Go past the Heineken Experience or stop for a beer, then head to Albert Cuypmarkt where you’ll probably find something for lunch. After lunch, explore Oosterpark - one of Amsterdam’s parks – before making your way back to the starting point along the Amstel River.
