Heart of Ohio Trail

The Heart of Ohio Trail is a paved shady 15.5-mile trail that follows the path of the former Cleveland, Akron & Columbus Railroad from Centerburg to Mount Vernon. Cyclists, hikers, runners, and cross-country skiers return to this scenic rural trail to experience nature in all seasons. There are several handicap accessible trail access points along the trail. 

The Heart of Ohio Trail is part of the Knox County Park District. The trail is a segment of the Ohio to Erie Trail that crosses the state of Ohio from Cincinnati to Cleveland.
