Shoreline trail from Hoi An to Da Nang

Overview

Enjoy this cool ride from Hoi An to Da Nang along the shoreline.

Hoi An is famous for its Ancient Town colored by splendid yellow shop walls and a set of delightful lanterns. Wandering inside the town is always an amazing experience, but if you’re traveling to Hoi An in late spring, you should rent a bike and head to Da Nang by skirting the shoreline of the middle region of Vietnam.

Riding in the early morning will give you a chance to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and avoid traffic. Though the beaches are off-sight, you still can feel the salty and cool beach breeze in the air.

Upon reaching Da Nang, you’ll go over Cau Rong (“Dragon Bridge” in English). The bridge shapes as a dragon that can breathe fire and water. The demonstration starts at 9:00pm every Saturday and Sunday and on public days.

Terrain

The terrain is pretty flat and easy to pedal.

Access

The ride starts at Green Coco Homestay located on Nguyen Truong To Street, Hoi An.

Food and drink

Dotting along the ride are several eateries where you can stop for lunch.
