Vista Chinesa

Vista Chinesa

RIO DE JANEIRO, BRAZIL – Vista Chinesa is a charming little Chinese structure placed 380 meters high in Tijuca National Forest, one of the world’s largest urban forests, and offers one of the most impressive views in Rio.

Built on the beginning of the XX century as a tribute to Chinese and the import cultivation of tea in Brazil, the Vista Chinesa (Chinese View) monument offers a big panorama made by the green of the Rio’s South area.

The trail to the place has easy access and it’s totally paved, taking to the gazebo in a demanding climb, steep, but makes up one of the most beautiful peaks in town!
