Niterói Contemporary Art Museum
The Museum of Contemporary Art of Niterói (MAC) was inaugurated on September 2, 1996, designed by the architect Oscar Niemeyer. Its bold structure in a privileged location, the district of Boa Viagem, in the municipality of Niterói, does not tire of enchanting its frequent visitors.
The building houses the João Sattamini Collection, made up of more than 1,300 works from the 1950s to the present day. The MAC of Niterói also has its own collection, acquired by donations.
