One coffee. A factory. Unique experience of production and flavor in the same place. With a menu that values the movement "from the field to the table", everything is fresh and seasonal, including the grains selected and ground at the time of the coffee we serve. Our breads, produced with the slow process of natural fermentation, leave directly from the oven for the preparation of tartines and sandwiches, as well as almost everything that is served in the cafe. We produce yogurt, granola, jellies, sweets, ice creams, cakes, candies and jams and some cheeses. We complete the menu with a selection of incredible local and organic products.
The breads are baked throughout the morning, always beginning with Sourdough River. Our production is limited and may run out before the store closes.
The Slow Bakery is a homemade bakery in Rio. Our breads are made with natural yeast and very long maturation, take at least 30 hours to be ready. The process rescues original methods of production and allows us to follow all the details of the fermentation. The result is a more careful, more flavorful and highly healthy bread, as all food should be.
