Boorowa to Galong and Binalong circuit

This is a 70km undulating circuit of mixed bitumen and gravel. You'll ride through the quaint townships of both Galong and Binalong. IN addition to the townships, you'll be rewarded with the region's spectacular landscapes of rolling pasture and grazing lands; eucalypt lined country roads; and expansive views and vistas leading towards the horizon in all directions surrounding you. The vast majority of this ride is on quiet back roads with only minimal traffic.

TERRAIN

This ride is a mix of sealed and gravel roads; of undulating terrain. There are no significant climbs.

ACCESS

We recommend starting and ending this ride in Boorowa as a main entry and exit point. There are great accommodation and eating/drinking options throughout the township for pre and post ride. Alternatively, car-parking options are also numerous, including near the Visitor Information Centre on the Main Street.

FOOD AND DRINK

There are no provisions - other than public toilet facilities - in Galong. Binalong offers a modest cafe (check opening hours prior to visiting), as well as a modest store and hotel.
