At just shy of 130km and with near 1,500m of climbing, and a mix of bitumen and gravel, this one is a full day epic!
You'll be well rewarded with picturesque scenery, expansive views and vistas; and tree-lined country roads. You'll feel a million miles away from it all; and won't experience too much traffic on this one either.
This ride is an almost 50/50 mix of sealed and gravel roads. Heading out of Boorowa towards Frogmore and beyond, you'll be on sealed roads. However, once you turn right at the locality of Graham and across to Reid's and Taylor's Flats is where you'll start to encounter some beautiful gravel roads.
After riding around 40km you'll then spend the next 60km of the ride on a gradual ascent but with many descents to break up the climb. Nothing is too steep and - for anyone contemplating this ride - we know you're in pretty good shape and will be able to conquer and enjoy this ride.
You can start this one from anywhere within the township of Boorowa; including from your place of accommodation. And, let's face it, as a full day epic, you're going to need to stay in Boorowa both the night before and the night after this ride. The Boorowa Hotel is a great option; regularly welcoming cyclists just like you!
