The breakfast menu at Cucina includes options to suit your dietary requirements, with hearty, high energy choices to fuel your upcoming ride or delicious comfort food and house-baked sweet treats if you’re indulging after you've conquered your hill climbs or casual coastal cruise. Breakfast favorites include the Cucina Muesli – the café’s signature house-made gluten-free blend of quinoa, chia, almonds served with Harvey WA Greek yogurt and candied fruit and nuts. For Paleo fans, opt for the gluten-free Paleo Delight – with Portabello mushroom, crispy kale, avocado, butternut squash and pepitas. Add poached free-range eggs or smoked salmon for an extra protein hit. Cucina on Hay champion barista, Jerrilyn Speck, believes guests will find the coffee tasting a multi-sensory experience. “Traveller’s Pick has an abundance of juicy burnt caramel notes, with a perfect citrus finish when served straight up black,” she said. “Then there is a lovely nuttiness and easy-going intensity when enjoyed with milk. I love it, and I think our guests will too.”
