Cycle Canberra, Mountain Bike Ride, Mount Ainslie Loop
Mount Ainslie Nature Reserve is a 640-hectare reserve adjoining the Mount Majura Nature Reserve to form a huge natural area.
The wildlife and scenery here have captured every heart that comes and goes for years. No matter you are big or small, this will always be a nice place that deserves to pay a visit once you in Canberra. It will be even better if you have a company and, of course, a bike.
The Mt Ainslie Nature Park loop in the reserve is a terrific bike ride through native bushland. Traveling along managed fire road, it is a perfect family outing for those with children strong enough for the 10-kilometer ride, or anyone looking for an off-road option without the challenge of rough terrain.
Saying no more, call your friends and family and head to Mount Ainslie Nature Reserve!
The terrain is relatively even
The access point to the fire trail is from Treloar Crescent which is located behind the Australian War Memorial, running off Limestone Avenue.
