This bike ride will take you to three of the highest points in Portland. Pittock Mansion sits about 1,000 feet above sea level . Washington Park is a very popular place for its museums, the Oregon Zoo, and gardens. And the highest peak in Portland is found at the summit of Council Crest Park where five mountain peaks can be viewed. Each of these locations has numerous hiking trails where you can wander through the beautiful Oregon woods.

More Details

The second peak of the bike ride is at Washington Park where the extremely popular Oregon Zoo is located. The bike ride up to Washington Park begins with a very steep section of road and then levels off a bit. As you descend the hill from Washington Park, you will be able to see the red and white tower that sits atop Council Crest, the next and highest peak of this bike ride. From the summit you can view five snow-capped mountain peaks and 3,000 miles of land. Council Crest Park is a great place for the view of the city, the mountains, and for picnicking on the grassy hillside.
