Talbot Arts and Historical Museum

Opened in 1984 in the former Primitive Methodist Church (opened 1870), the museum contains a wide range of items of historical interest many or which have been donated by local residents or past residents or their families.

The museum has a collection of documents, photographs, school, cemetery and Amherst hospital records and artefacts presenting the history of the pioneers and early settlers of the district.

Open Sunday 1 pm - 4 pm or by appt.
