Enjoy the shade of Reid Park, walk or ride through it, take your time to pedal quietly, relax and take some deep breaths to prepare for the tranquility of the days.
Lodge on the Desert is suggested. Located right in the center and not so far from the Celebrate Art Ride.
Cycle Tucson is super close to the Lodge. They provide delivery and pick-up only.

The Celebrate Art Ride is a good start for chilling or having fun with your faminy. We believe Art Ride is a smart choice to enjoy your trip on the first day. Ride around this historic city as well as admiring more than 25 art works all in just one ride. What can be better?

Around half an hour by bike from the Lodge to the starting point of the Art Ride, which is right at the Garden of Geth semane.

How to get there
It takes around 2 hours on bike to arrive at the Museum.

This track gives you a chance to border the south of Tucson and wind across scenic mountains and parks.
The whole trail.
Roads covering the Reid Park Zoo aera are all paved. An almost loop can be made by keep pedaling on the edge that area, which also forms its own line around the adjacent Randolph Golf Complex.
Going straight south on S. Palo Verde Road and jump on middle of Julian Wash Greenway, which spreads from a junction with the Santa Cruz River Park to S. Rita Road, offering pretty Sonoran Desert, grandiose mountainous views and pleasant green parks.
When you reach Thomas Jay Regional Park, make a right turn onto E. Littletown Road and curve north to E Valencia Road. The Pima Air and Space Museum, one of the world's largest aircraft collections, will be seen on your right.
Having a day off is pefect for your journey. Take a walk, a bus, or even a cab and give yourself some taste from local cuisine is pretty suggested.

How to get there
Head north from the Lodge, E. Speedway Road welcomes you with various restaurants and cafés.
From E. Tanque Verde Road, let your way connect to Pantano River Path, which runs along Pantano Wash River.
Through E. Sellarole Road, ride onto Harrison Greenway. After 2 kilometers from E. Sellarole Road, you will find Fantasy Island Mountain Bike Park. If you want to have more fun and expand the ride, the Fantasy Island Trail (green spot on the map) is there to serve. Otherwise, stick with the plan and keep heading south till you approach Nexus Road.
After the ride, have a chill romantic meal at Cielos, right in the Lodge on the Desert, offering one of the best dining options in Southern Arizona.
If you still have time, take a look at Mat Bevel's Museum Of Kinetic Art right on E. Broadway Boulevard pretty near the Lodge.
